Comment: Was pointed to this site by Ray Richardson as part of my research and web site creation for my grandfather - Chief Skipper John Wilson RNR, RD DSC - and his story in the RNR and aboard his trawler, Rutlandshire. Looks like you have the makings of a great site Nick. May be we can link once I've completed my work. |

Excellent work on the site Nick. When in the Merchant Navy we had to dip
our Red Ensign to the White Ensign, and now tip my hat to your site. Thanks for the link. |

Comment: Well done - a super site. My father was a RNPS Skipper 1940 - 1946. He is still alive and well, and has many a tall tale to tell of his exploits. He was a deep-sea fisherman for almost 50 years before & after WWII. We have been trying for years to obtain a photograph of his "favourite" WWII armed trawler - The Lord Stonehaven (unfortunately lost to a German UBoat in 1942). Any thoughts of who might have one? |
