Comment:I frenquently asked my father questions regarding life in the Navy. He always gave me answers relating to his time spent in the Patrol Service. The humour, camaraderie and pride he held for the service. It obviously meant a great deal to him. |

Comment: Hi Nick Just realised that despite all our correspondence I have never signed your guest book Thanks for all the help on my father Eric Robbins who served on HMS Le Tiger from approx. September 1941 to post August 1942. I have a number of photographs scanned in that he took when he was on board Le Tiger if anybody is interested. Anybody out there remember him? He was a signals coder and later went on to serve on HMS Foxhound destroyer, HMS Boxer Fighter Direction Ship, Fex-LST 29 and HMS Patroller Escort Carrier Thank you for a great website and all the work that you do. |

Comment: Hi there and congrats on a fine site. My father Albert Tal Evans served in the RNPS during the war on a number of trawlers including the Northern Gem and the Thorgrim in fields as far apart as North and South Africa and the Arctic Convoys including the ill-fated PQ17. He survived the war and returned to trawling but sadly passed away three years ago. It's good to see that these men have not been forgotten. Keep up the good work. |
